Earthlok was used in place of concrete curbing and channel along road shoulder. Earthlok was placed in position prior to road base and bitumen being laid, therefore locking Earthlok under the new road surface to prevent undermining from water run-off. Earthlok was also considered safer if a vehicle was to veer off the road. 500m2 was installed within 4hrs including preparation.
