Unlike traditional options such as rip rap, which is non-renewable, energy-intensive to produce, and relies on blasting and heavy haulage, EARTHLOK™ offers a more environmentally responsible alternative.
Our system is faster to install, requiring less machinery and less time on site, which reduces diesel usage and site emissions. Additionally, EARTHLOK™’s efficient logistics make a real difference—a single delivery of EARTHLOK™ can replace up to 20 truckloads of rip rap, significantly reducing transport emissions and road impact.
We’ve also embedded sustainability into our materials. EARTHLOK™ is manufactured using recycled content, achieving a 3 out of 4 Green Star rating, and includes a biodegradable underlay option that supports vegetation regrowth and biodiversity, especially in revegetation zones or naturalised waterways.
